Challenge your strategy

Brazilian draughts, played by the real rules.

Mandatory capture, the majority rule, flying kings. Play the AI or a friend on the same device.

How to play

The game in 30 seconds.

  1. Move diagonally

Each piece moves one square at a time, forward, on the dark squares.

  2. Capturing is mandatory

If an opponent’s piece is right in front of yours and the square behind it is empty, you jump it and it leaves the board. You can’t play anything else.

  3. One capture leads to the next

After a jump, if you can capture again, you keep going in the same turn, even backwards. If there are two ways to capture, you must take the one that captures more pieces.

  4. Reach the end, get a king

A piece that reaches the far row becomes a king. A king moves as many squares as it wants along a diagonal and captures from a distance.

2D or 3D board

The board starts flat. In Settings, turn on “3D Board” and the match is shown in perspective. The rules are the same.

Red pieces against blue, kings with a golden highlight, and a sound for each event: move, capture, promotion, win, loss and draw.

How the AI thinks

It tries moves, imagines your replies and keeps looking more moves ahead until the time for that turn runs out. Paths that are no longer worth exploring get dropped (a minimax search with alpha-beta pruning).

All of this runs in the background, so the app never freezes while it thinks. When two moves are worth the same, it picks one at random, which is why matches don’t repeat. The AI plays on your device, with no internet.

Difficulty selection screen: Easy, Medium and Hard.
Statistics screen with matches played, win rate, streaks and performance by difficulty.

Your statistics

Every match becomes a number: the app keeps your history and shows how you are playing.

  • Matches played, wins, losses and draws
  • Win rate
  • Average moves
  • Current streak and best streak
  • Matches by mode
  • Performance by difficulty
  • Recent matches

It all stays on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and you can clear the history whenever you want.

Nothing leaves your device.

About the author

I’m Leankar.dev, a self-taught developer. It started with curiosity: I wanted to understand how the apps I use every day are built. I learned Flutter by doing, and every published project became a lab.

In a little over four years with Flutter and Dart, I’ve built Android apps for Google Play and a web game. Each one came from a concrete need: a neumorphic calculator, a Brazilian postal code (CEP) finder, a shopping organizer, a reinvented Minesweeper.

I work with MVVM, Riverpod for state, Drift (SQLite) for local data and Firebase only when the cloud really makes a difference. I like clean code and everything in its place, from the folder structure to the interface.

I want to make apps people want to use, without excess and without confusing screens. If an app needs a tutorial, it isn’t ready yet.
